Frequently Asked Questions

WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE?

Most of our products are made offshore in US, Europe and Asia. While some are designed and made here in Ontario Canada. This helps us keep our costs low so we can, in turn, keep our prices as affordable as possible! But made in offshore countries doesn't mean we don't care about the process. We work closely with our manufacturer to ensure safe work environments, fair wages for employees and sustainable practices.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS SAFE?

Yes! All of our toys meet relevant Canadian safety standards. Our main focus is always safety for our little ones. All our products are FDA approved and made with food-grade silicone. Free of BPA, PVC, phthalates, lead and cadmium. Every product we develop has to go through rigorous test by third-party labs to ensure that it would pass or exceed the safety requirements. Please read all product descriptions, age suitability and care instructions carefully. We have done our best to make these terms clear in each description and cannot be held responsible should an item be misused or the information provided be ignored. If an item does not state its age suitability then please consider it suitable for children over 3 years only. As with any product, children must be supervised by a responsible adult or caregiver at all times when using our products.

ARE YOUR TOYS SUSTAINABLE?

All of our wooden toys are crafted using responsibly sourced timber. This means that the timber our manufacturers use to make our products comes from well-managed forests. Open-ended and wooden toys are also generally more sustainable by nature. Children can play with them for longer, better quality means they can be handed down and in general their production is less harmful to the environment than nasty plastics.

CAN MY CHILD STILL PLAY WITH PLASTIC TOYS?

We are big believers in doing what works for you and your family. Not all plastic toys are close-ended either! Barbies, vehicles, baby dolls, LEGO and Duplo are all fantastic examples of mainstream open-ended plastic toys. An open-ended toy is one that can be played with in many ways and has more than one function. In our house, we enjoy a combination of both wooden and plastic toys.
